EP DANCE was founded in 2016 by our Principal, Director & Founder Emily Place. Starting off with Baby Ballet and Adult Tap, we now offer classes in all aspects of theatre dance. Read more about the classes we offer here.
Our students are given many opportunities throughout the year, from government accredited examinations with the IDTA, to our annual show, regional dance competitions and much more.
Class sizes are small so each student can reach their maximum potential.

Emily started dancing at the age of 4, training in IDTA Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. When she left school she embarked on a 2 year Performing Arts Diploma at Shena Simon College, studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Commercial and Musical Theatre, gaining a triple Distinction. Upon leaving Shena Simon, Emily began her teacher training and started her first freelance teacher job. EP DANCE was then opened in April 2016 and the rest is history! Emily also has recently trained with Urban Strides on their Teacher Training Qualification to bring real authentic Street Dance to Stockport.
