About Us
From humble beginnings...
EP DANCE has been a lifelong dream and passion project that started in humble beginnings in community spaces back in 2016 with only two classes. Since then, we have grown to open our studio and offer regular weekly classes from our central Stockport studio.
Our goal is offer dance classes in a relaxed yet nurturing environment, where our students feel like our studio is their second home, allowing them to feel comfortable, confident and empowered.
Through our annual shows, exams and competitions, we hope to inspire the next generation of dancers, whether they come once a week and wish to just dance as a hobby or they are more serious and want to compete or one day train to professional level.

Meet the Team
Emily Place
Principal & Founder
Emily started dancing at the age of 4, training in IDTA Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. When she left school she embarked on a 2 year Performing Arts Diploma at Shena Simon College, studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Commercial and Musical Theatre, gaining a triple Distinction. Upon leaving Shena Simon, Emily began her teacher training and started her first freelance teacher job with a dance school in Cheshire in September 2015.
