Classes

BALLET, TAP & MODERN

Classes are based off the IDTA syllabus and work towards examinations and rosette awards. We also work towards our annual show in these classes.

AVAILABLE CLASSES:

Age 3-5, Saturday 9am

Year 1 & 2, Saturday 10am

Year 3 & 4, COMING SOON

Year 5 & 6, Saturday 11.15am

Year 7+, Saturday 12.45pm

Year 10 and above (Grade 3/4) Tuesday 5.45pm

STREET DANCE

Our students learn different street dance styles in class such as Hip Hop, Locking and House and about the different styles of music for each and the culture behind the styles.

​

We work towards medal test awards with the IDTA as well as our annual shows. We also have a competition team who compete in North West dance competitions.

Reception to Year 2 COMING SOON

Year 3-5, Thursday 5.45pm

Year 6-8, Thursday 6.30pm

Year 9+, Thursday 7.30pm

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary is an expressive dance style which blends elements of multiple dance styles, including ballet and jazz, and lets dancers express emotionality through movements and breath. Our contemporary classes focus on technique and choreography. We work towards medal tests with the IDTA as well as our annual shows.

Year 6-8, Tuesday 7-8pm

Year 9+, Tuesday 7.30-8.30pm

ACRO

Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with acrobatic elements. This class focusses on gymnastics-based tricks, technique and flexibility.

AVAILABLE CLASSES:

Beginners/Improvers (year 3+) Tuesday 5.30pm

Intermediate/Advanced (invite only and assessment required) Tuesday 6.15pm
